Hand Tools: DEWALT Locking Pliers
DEWALT announces six new premium locking pliers constructed from chrome vanadium steel for durability with an added tough coat finish for corrosion resistance.The Locking Pliers will be available in six versions, including 7- and 9-inch models with straight and curved jaws and long nose designs.
Director of Product Management Tom Chang said, “Our team of engineers designed the innovative Tough-Lock feature to help prevent premature release while the pliers are engaged.”
Additionally, the new locking pliers are designed with aggressive tooth geometry for the grip that pros demand. The partial hex adjustable dial means users can precisely add their desired clamping pressure to the material as well as release the pliers from the material in a controlled manner.
Complete with a limited lifetime warranty, DEWALT premium pliers will be available in December.
