Guardian HLL Stanchion Post System
Height safety leader, Guardian, a leading provider of fall protection and height safety equipment, announces the launch of its new HLL Stanchion Post System, a durable and reusable solution engineered to create versatile overhead horizontal lifeline systems for workers at height.
The Guardian HLL Stanchion Post raises the attachment point above the user, helping minimize fall clearance requirements while maximizing coverage across the jobsite. Constructed from aluminum and steel, the system combines strength and durability with a design intended for efficient installation and repeated use.
“Our goal is to continue simplifying height safety by developing solutions that are practical for the people installing and using them every day,” said Senior Product Manager David Viele. “The HLL Stanchion Post gives contractors greater flexibility in how they configure fall protection across a jobsite while providing an overhead solution that supports worker mobility and productivity.”
The HLL Stanchion Post is available with four integrated D-rings, two integrated D-rings or without D-rings, allowing users to select the configuration that best meets the needs of the application.

Multiple Configurations for the Jobsite
Guardian is offering the Stanchion Post as an individual component as well as part of complete HLL system configurations.
The HLL Stanchion Kit combines two 4 D-ring Stanchion Posts with Guardian’s 60-foot Absorbinator HLL System, providing a complete solution for establishing an overhead horizontal lifeline.
The Retractable HLL Stanchion Kit pairs two 4 D-ring Stanchion Posts with Guardian’s 60-foot Retractable HLL, creating a portable cable horizontal lifeline system designed for quick setup, reliable fall protection and enhanced worker mobility.
The Guardian HTL Rope HLL System is also fully compatible with the Stanchion Posts, giving contractors additional flexibility when configuring temporary fall protection systems.
