Rockler Woodworking and Hardware has just added new Cast Steps to their Library Ladder System – a complete line of hardware do-it-yourselfers use to create their own rolling ladder.
The Cast Steps feature the same satin black finish as the rest of the hardware as well as solid one-piece aluminum construction cast in a pattern which echoes that of classic ladder steps from the early 20th century. The steps make it easy to build an attractive, sturdy ladder perfect for libraries or other rooms in the home.
The steps are simply bolted between two wooden rails without the need for complicated joinery or hardware.
The Cast Steps are part of the Deluxe 8-foot Rolling Ladder Kit (49592) which contains 7 Cast Steps, a
solid aluminum decorative spindle, two wheel housing assemblies, step rods with cap nuts for each
ladder step, two hook bracket assemblies, all fastening hardware, manual, and detailed ladder plan.
Nine (44145) and ten-foot (47363) kits are also available.
