Stafda announces free webinar series
STAFDA hosts a series of free monthly webinars featuring well-known industry speakers discussing a variety of topics impacting STAFDA members. This year, the series was kicked off in January by Dr. Al Bates, Profit Planning Group, discussing the “Real Profit Drivers.” That program was followed by
Nancye Combs, HR Enterprise, on “Critical HR Policies” in February.

Upcoming programs include:

  • March 11: Abe WalkingBear Sanchez, A/R Management Group, “Enhance Profitability: No Increase in Sales Required”
  • April 21: Jeff Gusdorf, Brown Smith Wallace Group, “E-Commerce Trends”
  • May 12: Bob Footlik, Footlik & Associates, “Virtual Warehouse Tour: What it Takes to Get Here”
  • June 3: Alan Beaulieu, “Economic Update”

Chad Moutray, Chief Economist at the National Association of Manufacturers, will address members attending STAFDA’s 3rd Annual Congressional Fly-In in Washington D.C. Moutray will provide an economic update to attendees over breakfast before they visit with legislators on June 4 to discuss issues impacting their businesses and the construction industry.

Registration for the STAFDA Fly-In will begin in late March from the members-only section of www.stafda.org.

STAFDA is Fired Up for the Phoenix Convention
Plans are well underway for STAFDA’s 39th Annual Convention & Trade Show in Phoenix, November 8-10. Held at the Phoenix Convention Center, the meeting promises outstanding Educational Workshops, a busy Trade Show, exciting social events and plenty of opportunities to meet with friends and peers.

Registration materials will be mailed to members at the end of June while online registration opens June 29 at 8:00 a.m. (Central) from within the members-only section of www.stafda.org. STAFDA’s host hotels will begin accepting reservations on June 29 as well. Hotels include the Sheraton Phoenix, Hyatt Phoenix, Renaissance Phoenix and Holiday Inn Express.

The STAFDA Convention & Trade Show is for members only. Please visit our website for membership applications or contact the STAFDA office for an informational packet. A tentative agenda will be posted to our website at
the end of March.
