Epicor names new international executive VP
Sabby Gill Gill joins Epicor from International Gaming Technology.
Epicor Software Corporation today announced the appointment of enterprise software industry veteran Sabby Gill as executive vice president, Epicor International, effective immediately.
Focused on accelerating international growth for Epicor, Gill will oversee operations in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific (APAC), with responsibility for sales, professional services, and field marketing. He is based at the Company’s regional headquarters for EMEA in the United Kingdom and reports directly to Epicor President and Chief Executive Officer Joe Cowan.
“Sabby is a welcome addition to the Epicor management team, bringing new perspectives and a results-driven approach to growing businesses across multiple geographies, effecting positive change through inspired leadership,” said Cowan.
“I’m confident his strong focus on customers and depth of experience leading international operations, direct and channel sales, professional services and field marketing for global technology companies will be an advantage in this strategic role, as we look to expand our market share in APAC and EMEA.”
Gill brings more than 20 years of management and industry experience to the company -- demonstrated success in managing and improving the customer experience, growing sales, increasing market share and aligning regional organizations for success at leading technology companies throughout his career. His primary focus will be on driving profitable growth and market expansion for Epicor enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions in the EMEA and APAC regions.
Gill joins Epicor from leading end-to-end gaming company International Gaming Technology (IGT), where as senior vice president, international sales he was responsible for increased sales and market share in Latin America, EMEA and APAC. During his career, he has held executive management roles with a number of leading technology companies including HP, CA Technologies, Oracle, PeopleSoft (acquired by Oracle), and Digital Equipment Company (DEC).
