The event, held in partnership with the Pratt Chamber of Commerce, underscored the company’s continued reinvestment in its physical footprint as part of a long-term commitment to local markets.
With 53 locations across nine Midwest states, Mead Lumber has made store reinvestment a strategic priority.
The Pratt location received a comprehensive exterior renovation reflecting the company’s updated branding, along with significant enhancements to the retail showroom. These updates expanded product offerings and improved the in-store experience for builders, contractors, and homeowners alike.
“The Pratt location has long been a cornerstone in our network,” said Jake Lentfer, Region 1 manager at Mead Lumber. “These upgrades represent more than a fresh coat of paint, they reflect our ongoing commitment to staying relevant, responsive, and reliable in every community we serve.”
The celebration drew local officials, customers, and team members together to mark the milestone. After the ribbon cutting, the community was invited to view the work done to the store as well as a celebratory luncheon.
“This grand reopening is one of many steps we’re taking to modernize our locations and elevate the Mead Lumber brand across the Midwest,” said Dave Anderson, president and CEO of Mead Lumber. “It’s part of a broader plan to strengthen our position as a trusted partner to pro builders and remodelers while ensuring our stores meet the evolving needs of the communities we call home.”
The Pratt remodel is part of Mead Lumber’s multi-year investment roadmap, which focuses on optimizing facilities, refreshing retail environments, and deepening the company’s market presence.
