White Cap Opens First Enterprise Distribution Center
White Cap recently celebrated the grand opening of its first Enterprise Distribution Center (EDC) in Perris, California.

The new 332,335-square-foot facility marks a significant milestone in the development of White Cap's national supply chain network, strengthening the company's ability to provide professional contractors with the products they need to build and maintain communities across the country.
The grand opening brought together White Cap leaders, associates, customers and Riverside County community partners. The celebration included a ribbon-cutting with the Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce, remarks from company and local government officials, a reception and guided facility tours.
As part of the event and its ongoing investment in the community, White Cap also presented a $10,000 donation to the CAL FIRE Benevolent Foundation, underscoring its commitment to supporting local partners and the firefighters that keep Californians safe.
"This EDC investment will allow us to improve the service we provide to our customers and simplify our operations for the benefit of our associates and supplier partners," said Alan Sollenberger, chief executive officer. "By placing more of our broad product assortment closer to our customers' job sites, expanding our delivery capacity and innovating how we move product, we're elevating our reliability and speed for pro contractors who count on White Cap every day to keep their jobs moving."
The Perris EDC currently employs 42 associates, with plans to grow to over 60 associates as operations mature. The facility will play a central role in White Cap's national supply chain operations, providing greater access to essential products and solutions for professional contractors across the region.

"This facility was designed around our customers' needs.
