The KregRip-Cut makes straight, accurate, repeatable cuts in plywood, MDF, and other large sheets
more easily than you ever imagined. That’s because the Rip-Cut turns an ordinary circular saw into a precision edge-guided cutting tool. Whether you’re making rip cuts or crosscuts, (up to 24" wide), the Rip-Cut does it with simple setup, precise accuracy, and great saw control—and without having to mark and measure each cut.

The Rip-Cut does this with a long edge guide that follows the straight edge of the sheet you are cutting. The extra-long guide supports the saw at the beginning, during, and at the end of the cut. A large hand-hold in the guide makes it easy to grip and adds great control.

That edge guide is connected to an aluminum rail that holds your saw on a universal saw sled. The rail has a built-in measuring scale, so all you have to do is lock the saw in at the measurement you want—up to 24"— and then make your cut by holding the edge guide against the edge of the sheet as you push your saw along. Whether you need to make one cut or many, you’ll be able to cut precisely at your desired width.

The Rip-Cut accepts almost any circular saw—left-blade or right-blade—thanks to a Universal Sled that holds the saw. Setup is simple, and the saw can be removed for other uses, then reinstalled just as easily thanks to an indexing stop that positions the saw in the exact same place on the sled. Once you’ve mounted the saw to the sled, a simple one-time calibration aligns the precision cursor with the measuring scale on the rail, so you can set your cut width without having to measure.
