Larson Electronics Horizontal LED Light Mast

Larson Electronics, a leader in the industrial and commercial lighting industry, announces the release of a thirty foot horizontal light mast that provides a safe and effective way for operators to quickly deploy 1,600 watts of LED light output.

The LM-30-HZ-4X400LTL-LED-EW-3KVA-600V horizontal LED light mast from Larson Electronics features a two section assembly that extends to thirty feet for maximum area coverage and collapses to seventeen feet when not in use. The mast is extended and retracted using an included electric motor and lead screw.

This horizontal light mast is powder coated with a glossy blue finish for corrosion resistance and aesthetics. It is extended to its full horizontal position by using an included 1,000 lbs. electric winch with ¼” cable. This mast is equipped with pockets on each end for transporting with a skid loader, or other heavy duty machinery. The mast is typically mounted to trailers or other stable surfaces with a twelve inch square, ½” thick mounting base plate with pre-drilled holes to accept four ¾” bolts.

The lighting system on this unit is comprised of four 400 watt LED lamps, each producing 52,000 lumens of light. These flood lights produce a wide flood light pattern with a combined total of 1,600 watts and 508,000 lumens of light. The entire lighting system is connected to the power source by a four switch control box.

Each light head is on an individual circuit and can be powered on and off independently. A 44" wide and 2" by 2" by 1/4" thick mounting plate is attached to the telescoping section of the mast which provides a strong and stable platform for the 400 watt LED light fixtures.

This unit is equipped with a 3 KVA NEMA 3R transformer that accepts 600V primary input voltage. A 600 volt power supply is brought in by customer provided line-in cable to the skid mounted 3 KVA NEMA 3R transformer. The transformer then steps down the 600V power to the appropriate voltage required on the secondary side to operate the mast electronics and the light fixtures.
