- In July, single-family housing authorizations increased 13.28% year over year but remained relatively flat month over month.
- Maintenance and remodel volumes increased 2.99% and 3.56%, respectively, year over year, yet the pace of growth has slowed.
- While new construction activity has trended upward on a national level, the recovery has varied among major metros post-pandemic.
